Last week marked the start of Nathan Veshecco’s fifth studio album. Nathan brought me a handful of great song demos. I found it hard to narrow them down to the best songs for the album since they were all so good. We ended up picking a handful of songs that we both felt fit together best as an album. Like “Love, With Questions” we will be taking a more live or broken down approach to the songs. We started out by recording the songs that will most likely stay acoustic guitar & vocal, which were done live and finished in 1 or 2 takes. Yesterday we jumped into recording the first of the drums with Marc Seeley for the songs that will have more of a band production. In the next week or two we will continue working on additional drum tracks for the album. After that we will proceed into the overdub stage which will include some guest performers and even a mini orchestra!!!
