This past weekend I packed up my gear and hit the road to do a live mobile recording of HotWingJones’ farewell show at Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center (HMAC).
An eclectic group of players with a stylistically varied mix of original compositions and cover songs, HotWingJones has been a mainstay in the Central Pennsylvania music scene for over 15 years.
For this finale show they wanted to capture and book mark this moment in time so they could have it for memory’s sake down the road, and also to release it as an album for their fans.
When I got the call to take on this project I was excited since I have been friends with the band for many years. I also did a live recording & video production a few years ago with them and Media Boomtown.
I’m honored that I was able to be a part of their farewell show, and help to document it’s memory for years to come.
