Nyke Van Wyk came in the other day to hang out & play some violin for one of Beth Bowers’ songs.  Nyke is not the easiest person to book, if he’s not in a session somewhere he’s out on the road playing in one of the many projects he’s involved with.

I was thankful when I called Nyke to book him for the session & he said he could work it in the day before he was due to fly out to  Portland for a commitment. The session went great and we added a solo violin part to support & interweave with Beth’s vocal.  It added a very nice rich element to the song.
